This excursion will take us to see the hot gases coming out of the earth's crust
The symbol of the Municipality of Lacco Ameno is the "Fungo" a large mass of rock that has taken the shape of a porcini mushroom. On site, the geologist will reveal how the rock can take on such an impressive shape.
We will see a hotel built on a field of fumaroles and uses hot gases for various curative treatments.
We will go by bus to the crater of the largest volcano on the island of Ischia.
Eventually we will reach the thermal water source of Sorgeto. It is a thermal spring that flows directly into the sea with a temperature of 90°. By heating the sea water, it is possible to swim in the sea all year round.
If the minimum number of participants 5 is not reached, the Guide reserves the right to cancel the activity.
