Tenuta del Cannavale is a story of certified biodiversity and sustainability, nestled on a lush hill with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples. It is one of the very few remaining untouched testimonies of the ancient farming tradition of Ischia.

Tenuta del Cannavale is located on a medium hill, about 350 meters above sea level, without road access, and with a predominant eastward exposure. It is surrounded by chestnut and oak forests and is completely outside the inhabited areas.

The land is terraced and supported by dry stone walls made of local volcanic rock, known as parracine, with multiple stone steps connecting the individual terraces.

The estate spans over 3 hectares, including vineyards, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, olive groves, and chestnut forests. It applies the best environmental practices in its production processes to protect natural resources according to the principles and techniques of biodynamic farming.

For vegetable production, native varieties used on the island for over 50 years are preferred, such as the fagiolo zampognaro (P.A.T.), pomodorino tondino, and cipollone allungato.
